Here's some fun looking game trailers. Yet another Nippon Ichi RPG, with animated sprites and massive amounts of customizing, Soul Nomad. Don't get me wrong, Nippon Ichi usually makes pretty good games, and I usually like them, but can't they upgrade from the sprites and the slightly dated looking animation to something a bit more, I don't know, modern? But graphics aren't the most important thing; if the game is fun, it doesn't matter so much. And aren't we just now getting Grim Grimoire soon? They really crank these things out fast. Plus, one of the companies involved with the game, Vanillaware, has another one of their games coming out soon, Odin Sphere. The sprites seem to have a wider range of movement than the ones in Nippon Ichi games.

Also, there's a Death Note game for the DS. The trailer doesn't really let you know what it's about, (my japanese is lacking) but it sounds interesting. I wonder if it would actually ever make it to the states?
